Privacy Policy

1. About AdroitIQ and this Policy
AdroitIQ is a Mathematics learning application for school students in Classes 6 to 10, covering the CBSE, Telangana State Board and Andhra Pradesh State Board syllabi.
AdroitIQ is operated by the AdroitIQ team (“AdroitIQ”, “we”, “us”, “our”). AdroitIQ is offered as an Android application published through a Google Play developer account and as a website at https://myadroitiq.com/. We are not presently incorporated as a registered company; this Policy will be updated if that changes.
This Policy explains what information AdroitIQ collects — through the Android application and through the website — why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices available to you. It is written to be understandable by students and by parents and guardians.
The same account, the same learning content and the same subscription work in both places, and the information described in this Policy is handled the same way whichever one you use. Where something applies to only one of them, this Policy says so.
2. Who uses AdroitIQ
AdroitIQ is designed for school-age students in Classes 6 to 10. Most of our users are therefore minors. We take that seriously, and section 11 explains specifically how student information is handled and what parents and guardians should know.
An account is required to use the paid learning content. Accounts are created with an email address and password.
3. Information you give us
| Information | Why we need it | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | To identify your account and address you in the app | Required |
| Email address | Your login credential and how we contact you about your account | Required |
| Phone number | Part of your account record, used for account-related contact | Required |
| Class (6–10) | Determines which chapters and lessons you can see | Required |
| Board | Determines which chapters and lessons you can see | Required |
| Password | To secure your account | Required |
We do not ask for and do not collect: your date of birth, age, gender, home or postal address, photographs, profile pictures, government identification, school name, or the name or contact details of your parent or guardian.
Your password is never stored by AdroitIQ. Passwords are handled entirely by Google Firebase Authentication. We cannot see or retrieve your password.
Questions, doubts and support messages
If you ask a question on a lesson, or contact support, we store the text you write, your name, the lesson it relates to, and the date, so a mentor can reply. Replies are stored with the same conversation.
Students cannot upload files, photographs or documents through AdroitIQ. Student contributions are text only.
4. Information collected automatically
Learning activity
We record which chapters, videos and PDFs you open, and your progress through videos, so you can resume where you left off and so we can understand which material is being used.
Device and session information
To keep your account secure and to enforce our one-device-at-a-time rule, we collect:
- A device identifier that our app generates itself — a random value created on first launch and stored on your device. It is not your phone’s hardware ID or serial number, and it is reset if you reinstall the app or clear its data.
- Device make, model and name (for example, “Google Pixel 8”)
- Operating system and version
- AdroitIQ app version
- Time zone and device language
- Whether the device appears to be rooted or an emulator (to detect misuse)
- Sign-in, sign-out and session times, and a record of security events such as signing in on a new device
App performance and error information
To find and fix crashes and slowness, our app sends diagnostic reports containing the error, where in the app it happened, your account identifier, the session and device identifier, the app version and the platform. We automatically remove sensitive values such as passwords, tokens and card-like numbers from these reports before they are sent.
Usage analytics
We record events such as registration, starting a trial, purchasing or renewing a subscription, applying a coupon, opening a video and opening a PDF, so we can understand how AdroitIQ is used and improve it.
Advertising identifier
AdroitIQ does not request the Android Advertising ID permission and does not collect or use your Advertising ID. The app shows no advertisements, contains no advertising network and no advertising or attribution SDK, and does not use any identifier to profile you or to target advertising.
Network information
Our service providers (Google and Bunny.net) necessarily see technical connection information such as your IP address when your device contacts their servers, as any internet service does. AdroitIQ’s own application and backend do not collect, store or log your IP address.
5. Payment and subscription information
AdroitIQ offers a paid annual subscription and a short free trial. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password or any other payment credential. You enter those directly into Razorpay’s secure checkout. They do not pass through AdroitIQ’s app or our servers.
What we do store, so we can give you access to what you paid for and answer billing questions: Razorpay order ID and payment ID; payment amount, currency and status; receipt reference; coupon code and discount applied, if any; and subscription start and end dates, renewals and trial history.
Every payment is verified on our servers before a subscription is activated. The app itself cannot grant a subscription.
6. Notifications
If you allow notifications, we store a push notification token so we can send you messages about your account, your subscription and new learning content. The token is linked to the single device you are currently signed in on.
You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and you can control which categories you receive in the app. Turning notifications off does not affect your ability to use AdroitIQ.
7. How we use your information
- create, secure and administer your account
- show you the chapters and lessons that match your class and board
- deliver videos, PDFs and mentorship content
- process payments, activate and renew subscriptions and apply coupons
- keep your progress and let you resume a lesson
- answer your questions and support requests
- protect accounts against sharing and misuse, and enforce one active device per account
- detect, investigate and fix crashes, errors and performance problems
- understand overall usage so we can improve the app
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not personalise advertising.
8. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
| Service provider | What it processes | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) | Account, learning, device, session, usage and diagnostic information | Sign-in, data storage, backend processing, notifications, analytics and diagnostics |
| Razorpay | Payment and order information; payment credentials go directly from you to Razorpay | Processing subscription payments |
| Bunny.net (Stream and Storage) | Requests for the videos, PDFs and images you open | Delivering learning content |
These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We encourage you to read Google’s, Razorpay’s and Bunny.net’s privacy policies.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to investigate suspected misuse of AdroitIQ, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
9. Where your information is processed
AdroitIQ’s backend runs on Google Cloud infrastructure in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. Our service providers are global companies and may process or store information in other countries, including for backups, redundancy and content delivery. Where information is transferred internationally, it remains subject to this Policy and to the provider’s own safeguards.
10. How we protect your information
- Sign-in secured by Google Firebase Authentication; passwords are never stored by us
- Database security rules that restrict each student to their own records, tested automatically as part of our release process
- Payment verification performed on our servers, so a payment cannot be faked from a phone
- All API keys and secrets held in a managed secret store on the server, never included in the app
- Encrypted (HTTPS) connections between the app, our backend and our content delivery
- One active device per account, with the ability to sign out other devices
- Automatic removal of passwords, tokens and card-like numbers from our logs and diagnostic reports
No online service can be completely secure, and we do not claim that AdroitIQ is. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will act promptly and notify you where we are required to do so.
11. Students, children and parents
AdroitIQ is intended for students in Classes 6 to 10, so most of our users are minors.
What we collect from a student. Only what is listed in section 3 — name, email address, phone number, class and board — together with the learning, device and usage information in section 4.
What we do not collect from a student. We do not collect date of birth, age, gender, address, photographs, or any government identification. Students cannot upload files or images. We do not use student information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Parents and guardians. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has created an account, or you would like to see, correct or delete your child’s information, please contact us using the details in section 15. We will respond to verified requests from a parent or guardian.
12. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect the security of our service.
We have not set fixed retention periods for each category of data. Records relating to payments and subscriptions may need to be kept for longer than other information in order to meet financial and legal record-keeping obligations.
13. Deleting your account and your information
How to request deletion today. Email us at the address in section 15 from the email address registered on your account, asking us to delete your account. A parent or guardian may make this request on behalf of a student. We will verify the request and then delete your account and the personal information associated with it.
What we may keep. We may retain records of completed payments, subscriptions and receipts where we need them to meet financial or legal obligations, and we may retain limited records where necessary to resolve a dispute or to prevent misuse. Information may also persist for a short period in routine system backups and logs before it is overwritten in the normal course.
Delete from inside the app. Open AdroitIQ and go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. You will be shown a warning, asked to re-enter your password, and asked to type DELETE to confirm. Deletion then happens immediately and you are signed out.
Full instructions: Request account deletion — that page also explains exactly what is deleted, what is retained and why, and how a parent or guardian can request deletion on a student’s behalf.
14. Your rights and choices
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate — your name and phone number can be updated in the app; for anything else, contact us
- Request deletion of your account and personal information, as described in section 13
- Control notifications in the app and in your device settings
- Withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent, understanding that some information is necessary to provide the service
- Raise a grievance with us using the contact details in section 15
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 15. We may need to verify your identity, or a parent’s or guardian’s authority, before acting on a request.
15. Contact us
For any question about this Policy, about your personal information, or to raise a privacy grievance:
Privacy contact:
adroitiq710@gmail.com
Please include the email address registered on the account so we can identify it. If you are a parent or guardian writing about a student’s account, please tell us so.
16. Website, cookies and browser storage
AdroitIQ operates a website at https://myadroitiq.com/, alongside the Android application.
The AdroitIQ website does not use cookies. It sets no cookies of its own, and it does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other third-party website analytics or tracking script.
Storage the website uses to work
The website does use ordinary browser storage — local storage and IndexedDB — for the technical purposes that make it function:
- Keeping you signed in, so you are not asked to log in again on every page. This is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Caching learning content offline, so pages you have already opened still work on a poor connection and sync when you reconnect.
- Remembering your app preferences, such as your chosen theme, and the app-generated device identifier described in section 4.
This storage is first-party and technical. It is not used for advertising, for profiling, or to track you across other websites. You can clear it at any time through your browser's settings; doing so signs you out and removes the offline cache.
The public pages you can read without signing in — such as this Privacy Policy and the account-deletion page — are static documents that use no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts of any kind.
If we introduce analytics, cookies or similar tracking technologies on the website in future, we will update this Policy to describe the technology, what it collects, why, and the choices available to you, before or when that functionality is introduced.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy as AdroitIQ develops or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and publish the new version at the same location. If a change materially affects how we handle your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention, such as an in-app notice.
Continuing to use AdroitIQ after an updated Policy takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
